Signed a Joint communique

June 3 2015, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Abdilatif Jumabaev and the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti H.E. Mr. Dya Ya Eddine Bamakhrama signed a Joint communique on establishing diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Djibouti. After the signing of the communique, the two sides expressed the need to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between states, including in the framework of multilateral cooperation.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic presented his credentials to King Salman

Several new ambassadors presented their credentials to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on April 22, 2015.
Wishing the ambassadors a pleasant stay in the Kingdom, King Salman said the country was proud to continue its friendship with their countries.
Those in attendance included Crown Prince Muqrin, deputy premier; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, second deputy premier and minister of interior; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah, deputy minister of foreign affairs; and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, minister of defense.
The ambassadors included Denmark’s Ole Frijs-Madsen, Bangladesh’s Golam Moshi, Qatar’s Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al-Thani, Kyrgyzstan’s Abdullatif Jumabayev, the Czech Republic’s Yerji Slavic, Belgium’s Gert Krell and Norway’s Rolf Willy Hansen.
The others were Georgia’s Giorgi Janjgava, Ireland’s Joseph Anthony Cotter, Switzerland’s Heinrich Schellenberg, Hungary’s Ferenc Csillag, Ghana’s Haji Saeed Sinari, Tajikistan’s Sharipov Azamshah, Tunisia’s Lotfi bin Kaid, Ukraine’s Vadim Vakhrushev, Pakistan’s Manzour Al-Haq, Albania’s Sami Chiba, the United Kingdom’s Simon Paul Collis, Slovenia’s Tatiana Mishkova (non-resident), Belarus’ Roman Golovchenko (non-resident), Australia’s Ralph King, and Japan’s Norihiro Okuda.

Official statement of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic

In connection with the murder on the territory of the Republic of Belarus of Almanbet Anapiyaev, the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, wanted by INTERPOL for committing serious crimes, as well as the testimony of the citizen Gulzhigit Abilazizov, a detainee under the relevant criminal proceedings, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reiterates its deep concerns and bewilderment regarding the position of the authorities of the Republic of Belarus on detention and extradition of Zhanybek Bakiyevand other wanted persons.

The competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic had repeatedly applied to the state bodies of the Republic of Belarus with the request to take actions to fulfill the obligations assumed by the Belarusian side under the Convention on the legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family and criminal cases, and other international treaties. According to this Convention "the parties are obliged to search, prosecute, and extradite persons to bring them to criminal responsibility or execution of a sentence."

Заявление МИД Кыргызской Республики

от 27 февраля 2015 года

Министерство иностранных дел Кыргызской Республики с сожалением отмечает, что заявление МИД Республики Беларусь от 27 февраля 2015 года в очередной раз подтверждает намерения официальных органов Республики Беларусь любыми средствами выгородить и защитить преступников,осужденных в Кыргызстане за совершение особо тяжких преступлений, в том числе Бакиева Жаныбека.

МИД Кыргызстана вынужден вновь подчеркнуть, что официальный Минск не должен забалтывать проблему укрывательства кыргызского криминала на территории Беларуси.

Совершенно неуместно звучат также ссылки белорусской стороны на понятия “цивилизованности государства”, “соблюдения прав своих граждан”, “справедливой судебной защиты” и “специфического подхода к правосудию”. Тем более, в свете известных мировому сообществу фактов, создавших устоявшийся имидж соответствующих органов Республики Беларусь, в результате чего их руководителей не принимают в большинстве цивилизованных стран мира.

Official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Atambayev to Saudi Arabia

In the period 2-3 December 2014 was the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Almazbek Atambayev to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the visit were organized bilateral meetings President of the Kyrgyz President A.Atambayev with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Crown crowns Prince KSA Mukrin bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al Madani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chambers of Commerce of KSA Abdurrahman Al Zamil and the business community in Saudi Arabia.

The parties stressed the importance of establishing political contacts between leaders of the two countries and promote bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. A great potential in the relationship between the two countries in the fields of economy and investment was marked.

In a move to boost bilateral links, Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan had signed four major agreements during the visit of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On September 9-14, 2014 the first World Nomad Games is to be heldin Issyk-Kul in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic). Ethnic sport games, cultural, musical and theatrical events will be held within the framework of the Games.

Teams from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Russia (Yakutia, Buryatia, Altai, Bashkiria and others) and Afghanistan have been invited to participate in the Games.

Accreditation rules for foreign media

It is necessary for foreign media representatives to pass accreditation procedures at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to get accreditation for covering the first World Nomad Games.

According to the Regulations on accreditation of foreign media representatives in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, the following documents are needed to be presented:

          Full name and position of representatives of Media

           Information about Media (TV, agency and etc.)

           CV/biography of representatives of Media including mobile number, e-mail address

           Copies of passports

           Two color photos with 3x4 size (can be presented/done by arrival)

To pass accreditation procedures, please send all documents till 18:00 pm (Bishkek time) August 20, 2014 to e-mail: presssluiba@gmail.com

Kyrgyz delegation participated in the Economic Forum

Kyrgyz delegation headed by H.E. Mr. Erlan Abdyldaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the First Economic Forum for Cooperation of the Arab League Countries with Central Asian States and the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13 May 2014 in Riyadh.

During the Forum, Minister E.Abdyldaev held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia H.H. Saud Al Faisal, Speaker of Al-Shura Council H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh, Secretary General of the Arab League Mr. Nabil Al-Arabi and the Ministers - Heads of Delegations of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Morocco, Lebanon, Tunisia, and the Vice-Chairman of the Saudi Fund for Development.

The Forum is the first event of its kind aimed at enhancing cooperation of the Arab League countries with Central Asian States and Azerbaijan. Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economy and Finance from 21 Arab World Countries, as well as from 6 Central Asian States and Azerbaijan attended the event.

Forum participants signed the Memorandum of Cooperation of the Arab League Countries with Central Asian States and Azerbaijan and adopted the Riyadh Declaration.

Deputy Foreign Minister receives Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan

Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Abdilatif Jumabaev. During the meeting, the Ambassador handed a copy of his credentials as Ambassador of his country to the Kingdom in preparation for their submission to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Embassy attended the Festival-Fair "Nooruz"

Embassy of Kyrgyzstan participated in the Annual Cultural Festival-Fair dedicated to the "Nooruz" holiday which was held with the support of the Turkish Embassy in Saudi Arabia with the participation of Kyrgyz citizens. As part of the event for visitors were presented national products and souvenirs from Kyrgyzstan. The event was attended by representatives of such countries as Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
